We began defining our emotional 'hook' which draws in our audience as they can relate to the issue, which adds expression of emotions. Below are our emotional hooks...
- Fear of failure
- Ambition
- Cheating
The chosen 3 hooks are aspects of life which everyone can relate to, everyone has an ambition which they strive to achieve, whether it is exam and success or another path way in life. Nobody wants to fail, and because of this people tend to cheat to gain rewards, but is this the way to live your life? Our film will build around these hook.
Emotional hooks lead up to define our themes, our theme's which we will express are, ambition vs. disaffection which is theme of everyday life, success vs. failure, revenge and deceit which our audience can relate to which holds the same effect on the audience as emotional hooks.
This then lead to questions which we will ask, these may turn into the tagline, below are the questions as a group we decided on...
- How far would you go to get something you 'want'?
- Would you risk it all to succeed?
- What would you do for a better future?
